The Talisman Centre's spring community swimming lessons begin on April 13. The first section of the course teaches students the fundamentals of floating, kicking, and gliding. The class will progress to teaching various swim strokes, stroke strategies, and fitness routines depending on the students' ability levels.
Adults will take a variety of classes at the University of Calgary. There are courses for people who have never swum a stroke before, as well as the Master Swim Club, which is for people who are relaxed swimming distances and want to concentrate on fitness.

Important things to take to your first adult swimming lesson:
